About Us

The Keynsham Photographic Society, Bristol is a well established society that was formed in Bristol in the 1950’s and then re-located to Keynsham, nr. Bristol. We are a small friendly club of approximately 30 members and welcome all who are interested in all aspects of photography – film, colour, b/w, and digital. Our programme comprises lectures, practical and studio evenings, competitions, members nights and photographic outings.

We are a member of the WCPF which is the Western Counties Photographic Federation which comprises approximately 100 photographic clubs and societies covering a large geographical area of the South West Region. The WCPF is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain [PAGB]. On payment of annual subscription each member of the Society is automatically a member of both the WCPF and the PAGB.

Sadly, due to Covid-19 outbreak, the club programme and meetings have been suspended until further notice.

Under normal circumstance, we meet on Weds. from Sept to May. We meet in
The Fear Hall, 1st Floor, High Street, Keynsham, nr Bristol. BS31 1DQ 7.30pm for 7.45pm start.
The annual subscription is £45 per member per annum. New members may attend three meetings for a fee of £3 per evening after which they will be invited to join the membership. Any weekly fee paid prior to invitation to join will be deducted from the subscription due. Visitors are always welcome, also at a fee of £3.
